The A.C.A.C. was founded by the Cultural Arts council. It promises commitment to the future, to economic development, to the town of Appalachia and the outlying communities. Through arts and humanities, the A.C.A.C. continuously brings joy to the residents.
We are located in the former M.D. Collier furniture store on main street of historic downtown Appalachia, Va. Adjacent to the A.C.A.C, is the amphitheater for outdoor performances. The center produces a variety of theatrical productions throughout the year, through the community theater group, the A.C.A.C. players.

They retired from the board of directors and we thank them for their many years of fine and loyal service to the Appalachia Cultural Arts Center.
Thank you, Mr. Gilbert and Thank you, Mr. Rowland!
